I'm an American but I studied in England for a year. My religion professor there said 80-85% of Americans describe themselves as religious, while on 35-40% of Britions do. I was told by many there that fundamentalists are practically non-existent there, and those who are there are considered very fringe. But I never got the sense that there were radical atheists either. People tended to be personal about it, so I don't know if they were quiet atheists, agnostics, Deists or even non-religious Christians (people who believe in God and Jesus but don't attend church or pray in public)

I was wiping my ipod with soap....?

Okay, so i was trying to clean my ipod touch (2nd generation) and i put a nickel size amount of handsoap onto the front and backside of the ipod. I got a bit of toilet paper and wet it and started to wipe the wet toilet paper onto the screen of the ipod. as i was, it got wet and soapy and then i dried it up. i suspect that some traces of handsoap and water got into the usb port, so how do i fix it?!?!?! its my first ipod touch T.T

I was just wondering if there was anybody that knows a lot about weight loss and that could help me. Here is my situation. I am an 18 senior at high school and kind of not in to popular crowd. I weigh a whopping 290 right now and it is taking a toll on everything. I haven’t had a girlfriend in like 3 yrs and I will probably not go to prom. I am a video gamer which I know does not help at all and I enjoy all the food that is bad for me. I used to be an avid mountain-biker but due to my knees I can barely ride it let alone handle the drops encountered on a trail. I snowboard but I can’t really do jumps and things like I would love to do because of my knees. Don’t sell me short because I sit around a lot and eat junk because this just started again because eating healthy and exercise was not working. I have honestly tried everything that I can do without spending too much money. Here is my dilemma. I absolutely don’t want to go the surgical route at 18 so I’m planning on going the pill route and hope some of these commercials are true. Ok so basically my friend and i have been planning this summer for months and months and just as summer is around the corner, we both met this boy Josh who we both really liked. A girl I am friends with has been confusing me and giving me mixed signals. It's long distance, I met her back in June. I am adopted and so is my brother. My brother is actually younger than me, and he has got to meet his biological parents and family. He does have a sibling. A sister. Techinally by blood you are not related, but by law you are! He is your brother his family is yours just like your family his. So if he is to have more sisters or brothers they are yours as well. Tom's tortellini with dipping sauce sounds good. Lasagna might work and actually, it is supposed to be served closer to room temperature than really hot. I've made a cold tortellini salad. My bro calls and says we need to leave, so i crutch my way up to the car, then go back to offer her a ride. When i get back shes crying and surrounded by other friends, i sit down and gently adk whats wrong and she tells me shes really sorry but she just cant date me... I say its ok i understand, inside im crushed but i give her parting a hug and go. So she still uses the ticket n goes with other friends, i call to late to cancel the corsage so i pay for it, but thats only money its replaceable, now im wondering what i should be thinking... Hello, I'd like to start by saying I'm an 18 year old male & I am physically fit. Every time I get weighed at my doctors office, I'm usually around 169-176 pounds & my height is just about 6ft. My blood pressure has always been excellent, and I like to live an active life. I try my best to walk everyday, but if it's not everyday, it's every 2-3 days. I walk for well over 30 minutes & I'm not the type who just sits around all day watching TV. My only concern has to do with Diabetes because I am just worried that one day I will eventually develop it. My dad was recently diagnosed about 2 summers ago, but he does not need Insulin shots. I know my grandpa had it & one of my grandma's did as well, along with other relatives, Uncles/Aunts. I know it's hereditary & I'm just concerned that one day, I will get it. Canon powershot SX1 IS - upside down viewfinder?

When I look through the viewfinder of my Canon Powershot SX1 IS everything is upside down and back to front, the LCD is fine and working as it should, I thought I might have changed settings or something but I cant find anything that changes it back. Can some one that has knowledge about Salt water fish tanks help me out?

I have a military question but don't know how to word it so i will explain?

In 2007 my back was hurt in the field. My NCO at the time, who was responsible got away with it, in the same way that a simple robber gets away with taking your television in the ghetto and there isn't much evidence to stand on, the soldiers who saw the incident happen have denied everything because they were either afraid of the NCO, were his friends or they believed in some "Vegas" code, what goes on in the field stays in the field, which I believe is wrong. But anyway, my situation now is this, in 2009 when I was actually able to report what happened to me without interference from the NCO or his friends, it was marked off as scoliosis, even though in my prior medical paper work I had no proof of such a syndrome/problem, then later it was proven by a different PA that it was not Scoliosis but indeed something they, as in he and the medical staff, had seen before but only with victims of Improvised explosive device incidents. Because Of this my MOS became limited, I went from Combat ops to doing paper work. Then when it came time for me to get out of the military I was approached with a contract to sign up for the national Guard instead of taking the Individual Ready Reserve option. I told the NCO with the contract no. But he was persistent and made it a written order that I show up every time he said I had to show up, since I had other things to do, which were to get papers signed so I could get out finally, I had either the choice of signing his contract or being forced to stay in his office until he let me go. I did not have the choice of just getting up and leaving like so many soldiers have said I should have done, No I couldn't because an Article 15 was offered by him as well if I decided to leave, Even though I told him I couldn't enlist and showed him my medical records proving I was not fit to fight whether I wanted to or not, I know none of you have heard of this happening and I'm sure you think it's crap but I ure you, it isn't. Now I have to report for drill in Augusta for artillery and i don't know what to do. Its not weird to not go out all the time on weekends. I don't go out every day every weekend. There are some weekends I spend the entire thing relaxing with my family. Others I'll go out once or twice with friends. It all depends on what you like to do. The people who go out and party all the time, or who go and get drunk are the ones who are more likely to get pregnant or get an STD. You would have to meet the legal requirements and have regular inspections but if you are willing to put in the work then you would always have your daughter with you. I know that when they cry when you leave them at daycare it is heartbreaking. I remember when she was little I used to just make it to the car after dropping her off only to burst into tears at the thought of her tears. Even though the daycare centre ured me that she would stop as soon as I left, I still wished that i didn't have to send her. Just make sure that your daughter has time with other people when you are not there so that she can get used to being without you so that she will be able to adjust when she starts school in a couple of years. What you've brought up here is pretty much exactly my reasoning behind why gay marriage is gaining ground now. Back before women's equality, I don't think it was just the moral stigma attached to being gay that prevented people from pursuing gay marriage, I think it was also the way marriage was perceived / worked. That is, in a marriage the husband was dominant and the wife was basically the man's property. Then women were given equal rights and began to be seen as equals to men. Marriage came to be seen as a partnership between equals. Suddenly, if we believe there is no difference between men and women, what should it matter if a man marries another man instead of a woman or vice versa. So, I kind of think in that way the evolution of women's rights led us down the slippery slope to gay rights and gay marriage. (By the way, don't get me wrong - as a modern working woman I am a huge supporter of women's rights. I'm also a conservative who supports gay marriage - but that's another story.)

I have an advent laptop, and whenever pressure is placed on or around the area that the hard drive is on the bottom, for example when I go to lift it up, the whole computer restarts. Have you had any periods since giving birth? I noticed that my milk supply seemed low when I was on my period, there's an herbal tea called 'mothers milk' and everytime I was starting my period I noticed my milk supply low, so I would make this herbal tea and it really helped!! I've been feeding twins for 2 1/2 years now, and there's a lot more milk in your than when you pump, so even if your pumping less, there's still plenty of milk for your baby when she's eating from you. Akwarrrrrddddddd!!!!?

Greeting and farewells with my Boyfreind of 2 years Father is extremely akward. Everyone else in the family is completly bareable to greet with a hug and a kiss as well as the good byes but my bf;s dad is extremely akward. He hardly speaks, ever! He is hispanic so his fist and major language is spanish i speak little to no spanish my first and major language is english and only english. Yesterday I went to say my goodbyes to his father for what must have been the thousanth time ever, and this by far was the most awkward farewell ever. I went to hug him as i always do but he reached his hand out for a handshake. so there i am huggin him and his arm and hand are stuck between are stomachs as we are hugging as i lean over to kiss the cheek as ive always done and as is custom with all of their greetings and farewells he leaned his face away. Mind you this all happened within a matter of seconds i realized it was all very akward and quickly stepped back and away and avoided eye contact with him untill he was out of site. I like to be genuine with my hugs/handshakes a firm yet soft hug with a few pats on the back none of that whimpy crap where its really light and subtle and unreal. I have always given my hugs to the entire family like that and in this case just moments before to his wife. But i have always felt an uneasyness with him and like i said it has always seemed awkward but this time it was really bad. Sometimes i get the sence he doesnt think im good enough for his son. Like his son could do better. Even when our parents met for the first time my mother said the same thing she said she felt an uneasyness about him like he didnt appreciate that my parents let me move in with my bf.(not that they had anything to do with that) Anyways any suggegestions comments whatever how do i make these things less awkward/or a little more beareable. I sold an investment house and received the closing check from the real estate lawyers. I want to open a brokerage account, most likely with Merril Lynch or Schwab. 1998 Plymouth Voyager A/C?

We bought this van and was told the switch for the A/C & heater was broken, so each season you have to take it in to have a mechanic change it over to either A/C or heat. It blew A/C out the drivers side, and heater out the penger side. We took it to a mechanic who "opened" the penger side more so it blew A/C (but still warm). We wanted to permanently fix the problem, and took it to a mechanic today who said we need to buy a new heat & A/C module for it to work. When we called him he said on the phone he knew what the problem was already & would charge $200, after he looked at it, the part will now cost $450 with $55 for labor. He's also supposed to be a body shop, so we had him look at the plastic bummper in front which was hanging, he wired it up to the frame of the van to "fix" it. Then our penger side mirror was loose & he super glued it back in place. The other shop we took it too said it would cost $3-650 to fix the A/C & would have to pull the dash. This guy...

Well, i'm a hockey player and i skate 4 times a week for an hour each time and i get my blades sharpened around once a week. i'm not sure if there is a difference for figure skaters, but i ume you would go for around the same thing, every 5 hours or so of skating.

How to cure an unknown fish disease?

At this point i have no fish to save but i need to know how to get the disease out of the tank. Medicines never helped the fish. Every night i turned on the light three or four fish would be dead that were showing no signs of a disease. After a week the fish that were still alive were moved to a 10 gallon tank. I emptied the tank removed the gravel and sprayed it with bleach. After putting new gravel in, running the ornaments through the dishwasher on pots and pans in hopes that the hot water would kill the disease. I refilled the tank and let it run for a few days. In the 10 gallon tank the disease built itself up and killed like all but 2 fish. I moved them into the 125 gallon tank and everything seemed fine. After about a month i bought a couple of koi. After about 3 months of restarting the tank my fish started dieing of the same disease before. I decided to go with advice from a teacher and use this salt they sell at the local hardware store. It also didnt work. At this point i am out of ideas and out of fish.

Different symptoms with different pregnancies?

Tomorrow is the day- the day I can finally test! With my first pregnancy, I knew I was pregnant right away and didn't even need to test. I immediately couldn't sleep even though I was exhausted, felt sick to my stomach constantly, and overall just felt different. Now that I'm trying to get pregnant for the 2nd time. So far, I haven't had any symptoms like last time, although a few things are going on but its hard to tell if they're pregnancy symptoms or PMS. So my question is, has any had differences in pregnancies where they felt pregnant during one and the other they didn't? Five years ago that would have been amazing, but now it's comparable to a the most basic laptop on the market. One thing that will really set you back is that this Mac has a PowerPC processor. Not a lot of programs readily support the PowerPC nowadays since Apple has moved to Intel. I believe there is an emulator for Intel-Mac programs to run on PowerPC Macs (or other way around) but emulators never run a program at full native speed. It is single core not to mention, so this computer will struggle even with daily tasks, such as email, and internet. I don't want to dash your hopes, but with these specs, it's no better than those 8.9" netbooks...
