What kind of "maverick" is John McCain?

In my view, throughout this election cycle, John McCain has called himself a maverick, even though his policies would be Xerox duplicates/carbon copies, of George Walker Bushes own failed policies. I have to wonder just what KIND of maverick John McCain would be. The first kind, which comes to mind, is a Ford Maverick. Rewmember these small, four-door cars, with the four-cylinder engines? John McCain keeps talking about reducing government. The Ford Maverick reduced gasoline use. John McCain is for tiny governement. As I recall, the Ford Maverick had a very tiny trunk. Is this the type of maverick that John McCain is? A Fix Or Repair Daily maverick? I wonder?
