Take the closer out of the equation, will your opponent still make the deal. I think the 1B-SS swap works out to be a little in your favor. If the closer is a must I would still do it anyways. You can always pick up temporary or permanent closers as they come and go. I know I rode Simon (Bal) until he got hurt, I picked up Corpas when he took over, Gregg when he took over. They pop up every other week or so, so giving up a closer is not a terrible thing to do.
