Can you get viruses from going on Myspace?

First of all youtube is safe, but my space has so many ads that are crap, you accidenly click on one BAM ur infected, so ya its best that you stay off that site, umm and yes if u connecet through their internet u can get them a virus too because if u were on a sight persay and u get a virus howd u get it in the first place? it traveled thru the net to get to u computer and so if u were connected to some elses it also goes to every other computer that the internet connects through so ya its a pretty dangerous risk
