Can you tell me if this laptop is fast enough please?

Five years ago that would have been amazing, but now it's comparable to a the most basic laptop on the market. One thing that will really set you back is that this Mac has a PowerPC processor. Not a lot of programs readily support the PowerPC nowadays since Apple has moved to Intel. I believe there is an emulator for Intel-Mac programs to run on PowerPC Macs (or other way around) but emulators never run a program at full native speed. It is single core not to mention, so this computer will struggle even with daily tasks, such as email, and internet. I don't want to dash your hopes, but with these specs, it's no better than those 8.9" netbooks...
