How can people really still believe in "GOD"?

Why do people get so pissed trying to prove their faith. The boogey man is not real. The primordial sludge that churned for millions of years helped create life, and nothing else. I feel so bad for people that can't just get through life knowing that they get to be alive for a short time. I mean the odds of an after life are non-existent yet people flock to church on sunday expecting that they are insuring their place in heaven.....and while I'm on the topic.....why does it seem that the most church going people are the most judgemental? Is that because "GOD" has ured them a place at his feet already? If so why has he never spoken to me in any way shape or form? LOL what a ******* crock of ****.
