For Patriot fans: Imagine if the Pats were able to rope in Shanahan?

Haha... now hear me out before people start going nuts, ok? I'm not talking about a head coaching position & I'm also not saying there is any chance of this happening... this is just a 'what if' scenario. With Pioli & McDaniels likely on their respective ways out imagine if Belichick and company were able to talk Shanahan into coming in as Offensive Coordinater & VP of Player Personel. Now he wouldn't be head coach of course, but he could be in charge of an unbelievable offense & he could also have final say on all players coming into the Patriots... based of course on the criteria in which the Patriots set forth. Shanahan has also always been one of the coachs that Belichick respects and they have both always had a mutual admiration for eachother & it would be playing into what Belichick has done for years with players... picking up someone that has generally given the Patriots trouble over the years (Sammy Morris, Wes Welker)... this year discluded... Shanahan has always had Belichick's number... I bet Belichick would LOVE to team up with him and pick his brain. Also... Shanahan has always had a knack for creating star RBs out of nothing... he could do wonders for the Patriots vast RB corps. Also not to mention he used to coach one of the greatest QBs the NFL has ever seen... he would have chance to do that again with the Patriots and Brady. Now... I hope people don't get too angry at me mentioning this, haha... I always found it fascinating how people get angry at the mere mentioning of something that would be positive for a team like the Patriots. For Patriots fans... wouldn't this be FREAKEN awesome?
