External video card/dock video card?

ok.. my wife just bought me this pc game.. i have a laptop.. she just umed as i did that it would work, i didnt realize that the world pc gaming was up there.. anyways... my system on my laptop says that i have a " dock video port" what is that and what can i get to get my damn game to work with out having to tear into my laptop to replace somthing.. I saw on video card online that lookied like a network card and would go into that slot.. thats what i need like a external video card , with agp 8x or a pci express vieo card 128 mb vram pixel shader1.4 - i have a radeon 9000 but its only a 4x.. help i really want to play this game
